CONGRATULATIONS TO SHAWN JACKSON, PRESIDENT OF THE GREATER OMAHA AREA USBC!
Shawn began his two year elected position on August 1, 2024 and will serve until July 31, 2026.
His affiliation with GOABA began as a Director in 2018. His presence has been most notable as the Chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee.
Shawn is the secretary for two leagues, AD Hill and Country Gents at Mockingbird Lanes.
He holds his own on the lanes as well, establishing a 220+ average for most of his bowling career. He is the owner of several 300 games and 800 series'. He does not limit his bowling to league activity. You will find him participating in as many tournaments as time allows.
Shawn hopes to promote the visibility of the Omaha Bowling Association, it's service to the bowling community by the Board of Directors along with the opportunities for league bowlers of all ages.

17 League officers attended the officer workshop at the conclusion of the "Shake off the Rust" event at Maplewood Lanes on August 4, 2024. Great ideas were shared among the officers and everyone came away a "ROCK STAR".
GOOD NEWS! NO DUES INCREASE FOR NEXT SEASON as announced at the USBC Annual meeting in Las Vegas.
YOU are a part of the Omaha Bowling Family when you
register in a certified league and purchase your bowling membership. This season membership cost for adults 18 and above is $26, USBC $15,
Local Omaha $9, Nebraska State USBC $2. This membership is valid
until July 31, 2025 and entitles you to bowl in any and all certified
leagues and tournaments in which you are eligible. Not only in our
area, but across the country (local and state dues may apply outside our
jurisdiction). Divide the number of certified bowling opportunities you have with your membership and the cost becomes minimal.
Youth membership: USBC $4, Local processing and awards program $6 for a total of $10.
